Servicing and Repairs
We can provide advice via email or phone to determine if there is a simple fix or if a service technician would need to attend. Our mobile team is available to come to site to provide expert advice and installation including the latest technology and automation to make stress free pool and spa ownership.
The service department also stocks a range of quality pumping and filtration equipment, heat pump options and genuine spare parts. Whether you have a leak, noisy pump, broken filter handle, need a new cover or are wanting to upgrade your pool for heating or automation options, we have you covered! Canterbury Spa & Pool can also repair pumps in store when provided by the customer. Don’t forget we also have free in store water testing so bring a water sample to store and we can help you with the water chemistry.
Service costs:
Call Out Fee: $120 (includes the first 15 minutes of labour on site)
Hourly Charge: $120 for time above the 15 minute call-out period(charged in 15 minute intervals ie: $30 every 15 minutes)
Spring WOF Pool Check $155 plus any chemicals & parts required
Start of season 21 point WOF Pool check ensuring everything is professionally monitored and any issues are attended to promptly.
The points are:
1. Check the skimmer lid
2. Check the weir door
3. Check the vacuum plate
4. Check the skimmer basket and clean
5. Check pool cover condition
6. Check the cover roller condition
7. Check the pump for signs of leaking
8. Check the pump basket/lid/o’ring/clean
9. Check the filter pressure gauge
10. Check MPV operation or cartridge filter operation
11. Check in-line chlorine feeder
12. Check salt unit/ chlorine doser
13. Check and Clean salt cell – helping the salt cell life span.
14. Clean and calibration probes – Keeping your pool Reading correctly.
15. Check pipe connections
16. Visual check on the condition of the heating system
17. Check pool cleaning accessories
18. Check pool water level and auto top-up system – doesn’t include topping pool up.
19. Check pool cleaner – (visual only)/clean filters.
20. Check pool surface condition – (visual only).
21. On-site water test.
$155.00 includes everything above, some of your pools will require parts to be replaced as a part of the recommended service life of the parts.

Labour $120.00 Per hour Charged in 15-minute increments (we would need to charge extra labour if we go over 1.5 hours on site)
If you would like to have your pool vacuumed while we are on-site and balanced with chemicals this will be an extra charge of $60.00 plus the cost of the chemicals.
(We do recommend this to ensure we leave the site knowing your pool is in pristine condition, you won’t have to worry about doing this once we leave )
